rockpopandchips Posted March 20, 2018 Share Posted March 20, 2018 (edited) Bored of my old black phone case I knocked this up last night, PVA rivets a bit of plastic card and some cheep cogs from ebay, all painted with enamel paints and matt sealed this morning. Its been one of thing I have been meaning to have a go at for ages, now were did the kids put the Nerf guns................ Pete in Lincs Posted March 24, 2018 Share Posted March 24, 2018 The phone case turned out great. Simple yet effective. Lincoln steampunk. The place goes bonkers. The local hotels and pubs love it! The following is not Steampunk as such, but everyday objects and all that.... I recently had to buy a new vacuum mug for use at work. I think it was 2.99 or so, aluminium & black plastic. Boring. Everyone has them like that. So I weathered mine. Mask the plastic, rub down and white primer the aluminium body. Then I stippled on brown, green and clear orange acrylic to create a mouldy and tea/coffee stained affect. Then semi gloss clear.
