Head in the clouds.
Very nice indeed and plenty of scratchbuilding which is first class. How do you get the rotor blades to have that neutral droop, is it with hot water?

However, if folded, you have to try and eliminate the droop from two of the blades. Cheers Randy

Randy Lutz
6 hours ago, andyf117 said: Looks very nice, Randy - hope my 1/72 version based on the Fujimi kit will look half as good when I eventually get around to finishing it! The last thing I did to mine was removing the lower section of the strut fairings (which I notice you didn't do) - high time I got back to it... A quick question: the DND specs only refer to the main rotor blades as being in "manufacturer's original finish" - did any of your RT refs confirm that as FS36440? Thanks Andy I don't recall if any of the RT's make mention of the blade colour, but on my copies of the DND paint specs, they list the colours in addition to the "manufacturer's original finish" and the colour listed for the blades is FS36440. This also seems to be supported by what I see in colour images and a series of photos sent to me by a Sea King pilot out of Shearwater. As for the strut fairings, I thought about removing them, but this kit presents enough problems without searching for more. In addition, one can find as many photos with the covers as without, so that helped make the decision. Cheers Randy
