Wondering what are peoples impressions of how accurate the colours are on the new Humbrol paint chart with respect to what is in the tin. Not too worried about the conversion aspect, I've learnt to take such things with a fair sized grain of salt.

Hmm, is there a free online version? I would say it will be like every other chart that isn't a paint sample; representative.

There might be an online equivalent but I was wondering if maybe Humbrol had excelled themselves & given some decent colour matches on the physical chart.  Guess I'll find out in a month or two.

Online charts depend too heavily on your monitor and its settings; and that's before you even think about printing!

I can only speak of their acrylic range (I realise the chart is for enamels, but would hope both ranges should match in colour), of which I’ve only got their late war Luftwaffe colours.

The chart is off by a fair bit, especially being printed rather than using actual painted chips.

Didn't the last Airfix magazine have a real physical Humbrol paint chart in it? Or did I get that from somewhere else?

Yes, the March issue, but it takes a few months to percolate to the farthest dominions, we'll get in about a month I should think & I'll almost certainly pick one up, even if just to refer numbers to approximate colours.
