Thomas from ARC
Dear all, IIRC, the panel lines of the Airfix 1/48 Canberra kit are not correct in some areas. Are there drawings available to correct this issue by rescribing? Many thanks, Thomas
71chally
Yes, @canberra kid runs the Canberra SIG site, there are some superb drawings and photos on there that will help you. For some reason I can't open and link to it at the moment though.
canberra kid
Hi Thomas If as James says you go to my site and have a look around there is quite a lot of info. If you take a look at this build I did it will give you a good idea of what needs adding or taking away, A B.2 for uncle Sam as the TT.18 is a derivative of the B.2 much of what I did is applicable. There are some small differences, but nothing too big. John 1

stever219
Many of the fuselage skin joints on Canberras are all but invisible, especially on gloss finished camouflaged examples. Wing panel joints tend to be more obvious (go and have a look at the “Canberrav TT. 18 questions” thread for a super photo or two.

She was a very smooth airframe, less so in her latter days. but aren't we all like that John 1
