Mr Bowcat
Hi Guys, just finished this one, it was built for a GB on another forum. It's only the 2nd aircraft I've built, so plenty of mistakes and still a lot to learn. 52

Reini78
well, for your second aircraft this turned out great! don´t really see mistakes there like the colours too, not often seen in that tones
Mr Bowcat
Cheers. I wish I'd spent more time on the decals, I think I could of done a better job. And there are a few seam lines that I missed. The paint design I found online, it's called a Flipper scheme. I think it was a experimental winter camo. Mr Bowcat
Cheers. I wanted to do something a bit different, and the GB was for aircraft in winter camo, so I thought this fit the bill.

redcap
If that's only your second model a/c build, I can't start to imagine what No. 20 will look like...deeply impressive work and a natural talent you have there. Keep it up! Gary
Mr Bowcat
Cheers Gents. Yep, only my 2nd aircraft, I usually build AFV's. Edited March 10, 2018 by Mr Bowcat
Spad
Very nice work there. Did you engrave the raised panel lines? I think the kit is a combination of recessed and raised, right? Cool paint job! ATB Rick
Mr Bowcat
Cheers Rick. Yes it's mixture of raised and recessed, but no I didn't engrave the raised ones. That's actually a technique I learned about after it was undercoated so something I will try on the next one.
Phone Phixer
Nice scheme, great build. For a 2nd aircraft build, can't see much wrong with that. Only thing is wingtip nav light colours should be switched.

AeroNautique
That's a staggering finish for only your second model, I'll be extremely happy if my second looks half as good as that. Am a big fan of both the Hog and the winter scheme...will build one myself one day. One question - did you use an airbrush or hairy stick for the camouflage? Mr Bowcat
Cheers. Airbrush for all the paint, even the yellow bands on the ordance, which took forever to mask and unmask.
