Nachtwulf
Does anyone have a picture or drawing showing how the shoulder straps were mounted? I have nice aftermarket belts in photo etch and fabric but neither one shows how they are really mounted. The instructions would have you just glue them above the back of the seat. Some show them mounted to the top deck others to the vertical bulkhead behind the seat. Any help would be appreciated.
longweight
G'day. Seat belt mounting was pretty standard throughout the FW 190/D/Ta 152 series. The shoulder straps were attached via 2 triangular metal mounts attached to the rear bulkhead just above the seat. The lap belts attached somewhere to the lower sides adjacent or on the seat pan itself. Google Fw 190 seat straps or similar and you should get something in images. Nachtwulf
The only pictures I've seen show the straps disappearing over the top of the seat. Maybe I'll just raise my seat to that position and replicate that look.
Crimea River
I'm with Longweight. The only way I've ever seen them attached is to loops attached to the bulkhead. Example here: 3
