Evalman Posted March 6, 2018 Share Posted March 6, 2018 This one has been on and off the stash shelf for a while and finally feel I ought to have a go at this nice little kit. Looking at the instructions, RVHP suggest Barley Grey as the main colour. Looking at various photos I'm wondering if this is correct, the colour looks more like Medium Sea Grey? Des Posted March 6, 2018 Share Posted March 6, 2018 (edited) An explanation I have seen for the grey colour on all larger RAF aircraft is that they are painted Camouflage Grey or Barley Grey as was but applied over a dark primer which gives a slightly different end result from smaller aircraft with it applied over yellow primer also the finished aircraft colour scheme seems very susceptible to variations in light when in it comes to photography.
