Rob,

Thanks, you are very kind! This was my third Iowa Class build from Tamiya, and it took the longest, over a three year period, largely because I had the plan book this time, and Loren had released his delux photoetch set.

Cheers,  Tom

Stunning build.

The detail and sharpness of the finish makes it look like a much bigger scale.

Lotta work there, well done.

Andy.

Andy, thank you! I really appreciate your feedback. This build was my first with extensive scratchbuilding. Right now I am building the 1/200 HMS Rodney with the Pontos detail set, and this is definitely easier to work with!

Cheers,  Tom

Chris,

Thanks! She had an interesting camouflage, and I wanted to do something a little different. This was well before Trumpeter released their version. I’m just glad I had some good references.

Cheers,  Tom
