janneman36
Well the website doesn't say anything about upgraded parts so it makes me curious what that could be if that is true!! Cheers, Jan Edited March 3, 2018 by janneman36

Admiral Puff
I hope the "upgraded" parts include at least a set of engine cowls that look like the ones on the real thing ... 1

V.P. I've got most of the Fisher stuff for the L-1049s/C-121s already in the stash, so I'm well equipped. Paul Fisher was talking about more stuff for the L-649/749, to follow up on his L-049 cowls (which are the dog's whatnots), but that seems to have gone very quiet. I'd dearly love some new L-749 cowls to do the Qantas aircraft in their various permutations - the Heller parts are equally dire as the L-1049 ones. Seeing is believing... but nevertheless i hope they have addressed the engines of this particular plane.. @Admiral Puff if you would like some correct engines for the Qantas L749 just contact RVHP models as they produce these engines for the WV-1 set that they sell.. If you ask it nicely they are more than willing to ship you these engines only for a very acceptable price whitout the radomes for the WV-1, at least they did that for me without a hitch... Grayhawk
Hope they don't upgrade the kit. I know it needs it, but at what cost? If it increases the kit price by 1/3rd or 1/2 then it's not worth the additional parts. Lots of aftermarket for the Connie so why drive the price up? Don't want to start a firestorm, jut my 2 cents. Cheers Lads. Edited March 9, 2018 by Grayhawk missed info
