ArmouredSprue
Hi all Here is my latest finished model and the first for 2018. Terrible kit. Avoid it at all costs unless your a masochist. I got this kit in our club end of year Kris Kringle where we have a competition Build A Bitch Model, the idea is to member to exchange those least loved kits, we'll build and display in our first meeting of the year in February. Well, this kit I got in 2014, so it took me only 4 years to finish it (mostly because I forgot about it in the shelf of doom). Anyway! Here it is! Not my best effort but happy to finish any way. Painted with Gunze and Tamiya acrylics. Decals from the kit (surprisingly the highlight of this kit, a little thick but conformed well under MICRO SOL/SET) The photos: Any comments, critics etc, are always welcomed! Cheers Paulo

IanC
I like that. I think you captured the paint scheme well, especially the mottle. Ian

Knight_Flyer
Nice build, not used to seeing a tail sitting 262 well, except for that time I didn't add enough nose weight to the Matchbox kit

I suspect the vast majority of 262s in the Matchboxwaffe were tail sitters!
John R
Hi Paulo (aka Armoured Sprue) Glad you liked my version. I think those kits originate from your part of the world. Apologies if I seem to be hijacking your thread. Maybe I should have just put in the link. John

Winenut
Brilliant job Paulo! Never had any idea that the SAPMA guys inflicted the kit on you in the Build a B! end of year Kris Kringle lol!!! I love the overall shape and beautiful paint, mottling and weathering. 4 years to finish?..........sounds like my sort of build timeframe!!!! Cheers Bruce

High Plane is from here (OZ) they have something that no one else have, so, if you want that's the only option. But I prefer more commercial kits, I don't have much time for modelling and I rather spend my time building good models and having fun

I prefer to build an Airfix with trenches camouflaged as panel lines but with wonderful fit than to struggle with short runs kinda kits. Life is too short to build bad kits
