Marshall MA4

Head in the clouds.

Recommended Posts

Hi

I am looking to convert an old Airfix Auster Antartic 7 to the little known Marshall MA4 Boundery Layer research aircraft, I have 1 picture but would really like any info/drawings/pics regarding this plane to make life a little easier so any snip-it would be greatly appreciated. I understand the main airframe was an  'orange finish' with the main engine cowling, wingtips  and wheel sponsons being another as yet unknown colour.

Thanks for looking

Gary.

Not sure how much useful info there is in ‘Tested: Marshall Test Pilots In War And Peace 1919-99’ I haven’t got my copy to hand, but I recall it has photos and a reasonable passage about the MA4

Yet again I learn something new!

I take it you have seen this :  https://www.secretprojects.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=16079.0

The PPRuNe photo cannot be seen on their thread unfortunately but is visible in Google Images so I presume there was only the one there.
