What an excellent build!

Not only am I impressed with the craftmanship, but the details too!

How long did this take to complete?

Thank you very much!

I’d say I used 100 hours on building. The Bandai glueless concept helps a lot, especially when one starts to cut things away it still holds parts in place whilst fiddling. That really helped on the interior and bashing the two kits togheter in the rear. Thereafter another 50 or so hrs was spent on putty, sanding and primimg, especially on the joints between the kits. Paint actually was a good 50 hours as well. The hex-camo was a bit time consuming (and perhaps overdone). The weathering was quite quick though. Then I’d say I spent another 50 hours on the figures. The dio was quite quick, stones are made from plaster, glued on and airbrushed and the resin mixes in minutes and hardens in about 24 hours, though quite a few layers so it took about a week. That account for some 250 hours or so, spread out over six months.

Fred,

Just fabulous in so many ways. I love it.

You get my vote for model of the year (so far)!

Thanks for the pictures. You could easily get away with

also putting it in the Sci fi thread & get lots more likes!

Now, what next? Any more like this in the pipeline?

Yes Sir, the Semovente tank is being kit-bashed as of right now. Though still a loooong way to go :innocent:
