wingnut
Finished this resin kit last summer. Steve McArthur
Very nice. It's one I've got in the stash, but haven't seen too many built.

Id say more like a MiG and an F-84. The Mystere looks more like the offspring of an F-86.

toniosky
Love it ! How would you qualify the build? Okay ?
wingnut
Thanks 46 minutes ago, toniosky said: Love it ! How would you qualify the build? Okay ? It's a very well produced kit, minimal air bubbles and a high degree of detail. Had to add rivets and the fuselage halves come in two sections which is a little unusual. If you've built any limited run resin kits before, it should be a pretty straightforward build...
Buzby061
Read it in Airfix Modelworld. Very nice. Pete

A bit obscure, but an interesting aircraft great stuff but I'd hardly call the Ouragan 'obscure' given it's the place as an early Dassault jet, plus it's long use by the Israeli's...including Suez and the Six Day War... I have the JGMT resin, the Isracast looks a major improvement on that kit, though I'm not rushing to buy one... http://www.isradecal.com/multimedia-kits and looks to be OOP already ... (it was about £70 IIRC when announced) they stillhave their great monograph available http://www.isradecal.com/product-page/dassault-ouragan though I'd not be surprised if this gets done as an injection kit in the next few years... What paint did you use Dave? cheers T EDIT looks like the kit is still available http://www.isradecal.com/product-page/ouragan-bundle-ii-publication-resin-kit-1-
wingnut
I used the Hataka early Israeli jet paint set. I look forward to seeing your finished model
