Learstang
Excellent news. The 'K', my favourite Bf 109 variant. Regards, Jason

Well, there will be someone out there who needs that. (I would have much more appreciated a Bf-109 G10 Erla.)

Roman Schilhart
Hooray! I've been waiting long time for this release, decal options are well chosen. Will get myself a couple of them. Looking forward to more upcoming marking variants! I wonder if they will be making Bf-109 G10 Erla version as well? This would complete the range of 109's, and would make one modeler very happy. Vlad
All quiet on the 109K front? I got one of these recently as I'm generally a fan of the AZ 109 range despite their flaws. My only slight disappointment so far is that the fuselage halves seem to share a basic overall shape with the ones from the 109G-10. Of course the panel lines are in the right place for a K but the G-10 kits have issues with cockpit fit and the nose shape doesn't look 100% right to me. I hope at least cockpit fit is fixed on this K kit, I need to spend a bit more time investigating what needs to be done with the nose.
MDriskill
I have one of these kits in hand, and my overall impression is very positive. I can vouch that the problems with fuselage depth and cockpit fit in AZ’s G-10/G-6AS series, are 100% fixed. The nose shape looks identical to the G-10, but the surface detail is much crisper. The molded-in cockpit side detail correctly represents the K, but the cockpit floor/rear bulkhead is the same piece as in other AZ 109’s, so the purist will want to correct the floor boards etc. The kit contains a complete set of AZ’s older G-6/14 sprues, with an additional sprue unique to the K. Thus you get all the props and other detail parts seen in those earlier 109’s; quite the surfeit of useful leftovers, including a full extra fuselage!. The parts on the K sprue are generally those shown in the first post here, including the 4-blade prop and wing-mounted cannon enabling one of the obscure late prototype versions to be done. I agree with Roman, if AZ eventually concocts an Erla G-10 of this quality I will be thrilled! Edited August 26, 2018 by MDriskill
