tomthounaojam
Hi Folks, A quick built, a Ki-46-II Dinah of 82nd Sentai over Burma. The kit is very basic an Arii kit of the 60s with lots of flash and simplified parts, however, it was a joy to built. The paint was bit tricky, I thought the light green part should be more khaki but I didn't have the paint so I used lighter green, could be wrong but could be also right as Japanese unit paint their aircraft with whatever they had. I like the flying tiger markings, it was the reason for me to do this aircraft and also ki-46 flew a lot of mission during Imphal during Burma's campaign. Thank you for the time, cheers.

Corsairfoxfouruncle
Good looking Dinah 👍 Normally not a huge fan of Japanese WW2 aircraft. However the Dinah and Gekko are getting a little more respect in my book. Edited February 18, 2018 by Corsairfoxfouruncle

Thanks, Mate, Japanese aircraft tend to little underdog compared other ww2 aircraft, however, they are good looking. I too like Gekko will try to build a one this year, cheers. 4 hours ago, WildeSau75 said: Nice one - looks just good with these colors. Learstang
Nice job! She looks good in that camouflage. Maybe not a Dinah, but I believe an Irving (Gekko) is in my near future. Regards, Jason
CMSCHLOM
The tiger insignia on the tail is from a Japanese proverb, "A tiger can run a thousand miles in a day." Good analogy for a recon bird.
