Airfix1\72 Spitfire S.31

Having lost all mojo for bigger kits here is my latest one a nice and easy kit make  and I am pleased with the results.

Think I lost mine a while ago and been focused on 1/72 single engine planes   Very nicely done, a neat build.

Lovely work. I especially like the contrast between the PR Blue and the yellow of the spinner and Swedish markings; REALLY nice. I'm assuming the fuselage roundels are in different positions along the length of each fuselage side (rather than aligned) to accommodate the cameras?

Nice PR Mk XIX in Swedish dress, as an S 31 of the F 11 photorecce wing (S for 'Spaning' = reconnaissance).

 

Although admittedly biased, I think that this livery makes the S 31 the most aesthetically pleasing of all Spitfire types.

 

Any particular reason that you overpainted the oblique camera window? Maybe just forgot to remove the masking… ;–)

Yep I did forget to take off the masking silly me!
