Strangeways
Really enjoyed building this, the Eduard 1/72 Bf 110E. It's the Profipack version so lots of coloured PE for the cockpit, and I also added the Brassin gun-nose and wheels. The fit of the engine nacelles to wing is well documented but it just takes a bit of filing to get a decent join. I liked this kit so much I've just ordered the G-4 version. 67

Randy Lutz
Hey Mike While I am not a fan of the early 110s, this I like. Overall nice presentation with just the right amount of weathering. Nice enough to possibly make me reconsider my position on the early 110. Cheers Randy
Knight_Flyer
Looks excellent. I believe this 110 was assigned to Operation Donnerkeil hence the top colour being hastily painted on for day missions. You did really well to simulate that effect particularly going round the fuselage markings. 1
72modeler
Mike, Very nice build! I love your choice of markings, and even though it's very hard to do a model in black, especially in 1/72 scale, you have pulled it off- looks like metal, not plastic! What you did on the wing root weathering was bang-on! Well done! Mike

stevehnz
A very sweet job on that Mike, it looks superb. Did you use the kit decal for the shark mouth or mask it, either way it looks the part? Steve
Strangeways
Thanks for the replies Quote Did you use the kit decal for the shark mouth or mask it, either way it looks the part? Steve Thanks Steve; yes, I used the kit decal. It needed a bit of touching up but generally went down OK.
Roman Schilhart
Wow, what a build. Great attention to details, and a fabulous paint job (its NOT easy to make a black surface come alive!). My only small criticism would be that it looks a bit tip-toed, may I suggest to flatten the wheels for a weighted effect? Apart from this - very inspiring, makes me wanna get my Eduard 110 from the stash .... Kind regards, Roman
Duncan B
I like that. I wasn't sure about the green colour when I made mine so did it in the standard black all over but you have absolutely nailed the hastily painted green top colour. bruce bay
Amazing - would have thought it was stunning detail on a 1/48 110, let alone a 1/72!
Unfinished project
As many have said before me it’s hard to believe that this is 1/72. Absolutely cracking build hats off to you sir
