This is Mikro Mir's offering of HMS Meteorite, ex U-1407, a Type XVIIB Coastal Submarine. The story goes, that three of this type were built and promptly scuttled towards the end of WW2. One of these, U-1407, was salvaged and taken to the UK where it was refitted with captured machinery. It was subsequently used as a 'Trials' Submarine. A kit of few parts that included some PE and was a simple build. A hypodermic needle was used for the periscope and an aerial added using Uschi elastic.
