May I ask what kit & scale ? (Roden I am guessing , if so, I am even more impressed with your finish  !!!!

The ole gal cleaned up very nicely! Nice choice of markings and finish, too!  Now you need a C-54 and C-119 to go with it! (Since you've already proven you're a glutton for punishment and up to the task!) Well done, sir! (Any problem areas to relate? I have one still in the box.)

When my Dad was stationed at Shaw AB, SC in the late fifties, I remember there were always 2-3 of these on the ramp all the time- in bare metal and international orange, along with a couple of C-45's and C-47's in the same scheme. 363rd TRW RF-101's and RB-66's were based there. Those were the days for a young plane spotter!
