G'day all,

I bought this intending for it to be a way to fill in time while I was on course for 17 weeks, with brush-painting throughout. Took longer than 17 weeks and I didn't like the result from brushes, so bought a cheap, small compressor and airbrush from Bunnings and made a mess of a couple of bits. Doesn't look too bad after all that. Built out of the box, using Humbrol and ModelMaster enamels, weathered with artists pastels and crayons. Used Pascoe's floor polish instead of Future as the clear coat, which caused a couple of problems on the clear parts and the odd silvered decal (back to Future for the next models).

Great kit - crap builder! I'll try to get some better light pictures soon.

Looks great, good camo. demarcation.... Good luck buying Future in Australia! I use Pascoes for clear parts, it seems fine, but if you have a source for Future, I'm all ears!

I bought mine in the US. I should've looked harder when we were in Hawaii in November for more, too!

Thanks for the positive feedback, gents. This isn't my first airbrush - I have three at home (a Badger copy similar to the one I have here, an external mix I use for Future coats and a Testors single-action) but this one seemed to defy me. Maybe it's the compressor, too. Mine at home has a big 9 l tank, so regulation isn't an issue. Anyway, here are a few more I took this afternoon.

It does look a bit better in the light of day. I should be happy with it but it's the little errors I made that I keep seeing that annoy me! Anyway, on to the Lancaster.
