leyreynolds
I've read that some of these were still in use as trainers at the start of WW2. Did any carry the orange triangle markings please?
dogsbody
There's nothing saying they did. https://www.ipms.nl/artikelen/nedmil-luchtvaart/vliegtuigen-c/vliegtuigen-c-curtiss-p6-hawk1 Chris
mhaselden
In a word, no. The last 3 Curtiss P-6s that had been used briefly as trainers were broken up in July 1938. Source is Peter Boer's authoritative work on ML-KNIL aircraft 1936-1942...and if Peter says it's so, then it almost certainly is so. leyreynolds
Thanks for the info'. A pity but I guess it's red/white/blue/orange roundels for the conversion. Ley
