A project gifted to me 1/35 Italeri Marder III Ausf H, it had been started a couple of parts are missing.

Todays update

I discovered that two of the track return rollers are missing so will have to make replacements for those also the main gun support/mounting is also missing so that too will need to be scratched.

I have now added the front deck handles and towing horns as well as the exhaust system, towing horns and crew platform on the engine decks.

Time for an update the mini lathe recommended by @The Baron turned up during the week so I was able to turn up two replacement top return rollers, the originals were missing from the kit. I also scratched a replace gun mounting crucifix this was also missing from the kit. Pictures show the hull with replacement top rollers with lathe in the back ground, the gun mounting fitted to the hull  and with the gun placed in position.

I like these older builds, something quite interesting about them. Recently I've been on a stint of upgrading old tamiya/italeri kits with PE parts, and it really makes you realise how spoiled we are with some modern kits.

Started the painting stage at long last most likely going to end up as a Russia 1942 vehicle so will be in the plain sand yellow scheme but I could still change my mind and do a France 1944 three colour vehicle.

I'm calling this one done although I might make a small base for it later.

This was an interesting project that had a few parts missing when it came into my hands and I don't think it turned out to bad!
