John_W
Looking in the stash for something not too demanding I pulled out the ICM Seehund. A mornings work and it is now a quite neat little submarine almost ready for paint - having seen some other Seehund builds, that is going to be a challenge. Not happy with the solid dome on the hatch, so looking at alternatives. I did mean to document the build a bit better, but it just fell together. Some fettling and dry fitting required. (The other floaty thing in my stash is the Colombo Express)

robgizlu
Hi John - nice work - they are cracking little kits. I struggled like you with the dome until I was overcome by a moment of Clarity They work. Enjoy the weathering. Rob 1
John_W
Thanks. I was thinking headlamps or astrodomes, or possibly shaping and polishing a bit of perspex rod.

John_W
Carved and polished a suitable bit of clear spruce in to a new dome, and put on some pre shading. And a coat of off white on the uppers

Stephan
Looks like the Germans had no money left for anti-fouling and now the ship is populated with barnacles. Good luck with the painting I'm sure it will be great, Stephan
John_W
Well, it worked fairly well. I am fairly sure the original was probably rough "field camo". Touched in a few creeps with a brush, and added a few extra spots where there were gaps.
