Some day I’ll find a white matt that sprays nicely and has good opacity

Halfords plastic white primer. I used it on this F-16, then just sprayed gloss varnish on it for the decals and the final finish. The kit parts were a mix of white and dark grey

The capsules are looking good and so is the helicopter. To my eye, the capsule with the flotation devices looks spot-on for the burned colour. A quick trip to a model show would have snagged you an older Sea King with fresher, better fitting moulding and none of the Westlandy bits, but I guess that's too late now... :)

A quick trip to a model show...

Thanks!

I’ve not braved a model show yet but is there any such thing as a quick trip? Any tips on how to go without coming home with armfuls of extraneous bits & pieces?

Thats not a shed, thats a penthouse

Where did you fit the 27L V12?

Whats the MPG rate for that one? [Models Per Garden-shed]

No models in there I’m afraid - Mostly given over to a home gym and so motive power is accordingly limited to between 0.1 and 0.3 horsepower. Fortunately this releases at least half of the loft for conversion to a hobby den
