Hi everybody!

another very successful Group Build here at britmodeller ends today, many many entries, and GREAT results!

 

here is my effort: 

 

 

Spanish Airforce F-104G /  C.8

104 Escuadron, Torrejon / Madrid

 

 Hasegawa / Eduard Limited Edition 1/48

obligatory DACO improvement set (wings, pylons, gear doors, )

Lovely build.......here you are a few of them....just a footage from a 1968 spanish film called "No le busques tres pies"....

By the way...the spanish refrain "No le busques tres pies al gato", freely translates into "don't look for troubles"...

What a fantastic film! Packed full with gems! And it has a lot of '104 howls :)

Well.....it's a fantastic example of how our air force looked back during the sixties.....a weird mix of old SCW planes, and modern US jets, trainers and transport planes....

The anthem is the old Ejército del Aire hymn.
