Fozzy
Hi to all! After 2 months (on and off) of working on this Dewoitine D.510 I would like to show you the end result. I built this in 1:48 scale from balsa wood and plastic and it depicts a D.510 ....serial number 166 from Escadrille 3C2 of Aeronavale. I don't normally scratch build at this small scale but have to say that I enjoyed every second even though it was very challenging! If any of you are interested in the WIP of this project then here is the link.......... http://www.britmodeller.com/forums/index.php?/topic/235030240-scratchbuilt-dewoitine-d510-in-14 Here are some photos..... I hope you like the photos!...and thanks for taking a look! Cheers Fozzy Edited February 4, 2018 by Fozzy

Brandy
Fantastic job Fozzy! I'm a little confused by the ailerons though, were they really full length, or should the inner portion be flaps? Ian

I have to say it does look rather odd and I did wonder if I made a mistake but before scratch building I always do as much research as possible....normally takes more time than the actual build!.....and I can confirm....here are some examples....
