SimonR
Hi all, Quick question, i'm currently building a 1/72 Revell (Matchbox) Bucc S2B and its coming together better than expected to be honest. I planned on doing a FAA overall EDSG scheme as I have the right decals and love that scheme, but now dawned on me that the FAA Buccs didn't have the bulging bomb bay - or did they? The one at the FAA has the bulging bomb bay, so did the FAA use S2B's or was it just the RAF? Thanks in advance! Cheers Simon

71chally
The Navy Buccs didn't have The bulged belly bomb bay tank. XV333 at the Fleet Air Arm Museum last saw service with the RAF as an S.2B where it gained its belly tank.
huvut76g7gbbui7
Don't be fooled by photos such as this one. It is XX894 ,which never saw service in 'proper colours'

I had a good look over this aircraft a few years back at the FAA museum and the engineers explained that they had decided not to locate and fit a flat belly as it were.
