Niknak
Hi, this is the 1/48 hassegawa bf 109 e 4/7, as most bf 109 e's that went to the med arrived in European colours and were painted in theater by the groundcrews using Italian colours, I have painted her in the following colours rlm 76. Giallo mimetico 4, I have added a Resin cockpit and wheels and a prop and spinner by ultra cast, trop, master brass gun barrels, filter is borrowed from a eduard bf 109 e trop, Rlm colours by extracolor Italian colours are colourcoats. Decals (unusual emails) are by rising decals, national markings aeromaster & extadecals, to be honest I'm not that happy with the exhaust stains. Thank you for looking, Comments are welcome, nick Here is a photo of her Edited February 8, 2018 by Niknak

Steve27752
Very nice, I think you are correct about the exhaust stains. They look like painted lines rather than smoky oil stains, but still nice work.
JackG
Looks very good, I like the colour. I thought the myth of Italian paints on Luftwaffe aircraft was debunked last year (it was a topic here on Britmodeller), or has new information come to light? regards, Jack

Michael51
A fine piece of work there and an excellent interpretation from the photograph of the real thing. Michael
