RussG
Hi, This model was built (some years ago now) out of the box with no attempt to change the engines and knowingly aware of the kit's issues. Possibly if I were making the kit now I would address the issues but that being said I am quite happy with the result...anyway, here it is. The Halifax has been painted as DG221 'EY-A' of 78 Squadron flown by W/C Tait on operations against Genoa, 23rd October 1942 I hope you like it, Russ

Steve27752
I know it was directional unstable owing to the small tail area. But his is my favourite mark of the Halifax.

Gazontipede
Lovely work Russ! Tiny vertical tails, bonkers bulbous dorsal turret, massive plank like wings, awfully complicated nose... Yep she's a ripper early Halifax for sure! I must admit to a capital offence heresy in that I prefer the old Halibag to the other other* four engine BC heavy... *Not the Stirling, I like Stirlings too!
Jasper dog
Not a lot wrong there, looks every inch a Halifax to me. Nice paintwork, subtle weathering what's not to like.
Vinnie
That looks really good to me Russ. You've even managed to avoid snapping off the sticky out bits.
