cetinsarf
I used Tamiya (No:70) kit. Actually it is a D-25 variant. I modified the fuselage to convert it to D-30 which was used in Turkish Air Force service. Decals are from Tigerhead Decals. I build this for the son of a P-47 pilot. The base is not completed yet. All comments are ok. Thanks for looking. Çetin Edited February 26, 2018 by cetinsarf Added name
Max Headroom
@cetinsarf It looks as if the curse of Photobucket has struck. Unless you pay them a subscription, no one else will be able to see your photos. Trevor

Thank you.. =) "After the WWII, 180 P-47Ds were received within the US military aid program. All of the planes came within 1948 and they were deployed at the 9th, 5th & 8th Regiments. After the reorganization of TuAF they equipped the 151st & 152nd squadrons of the 5th AB (Air Base), 181st & 182nd Squadrons of the 8th AB and 191st & 192nd Squadrons of the 9th AB. P-47s are considered as interim aircraft before the jet era and their service life was relatively short. Starting in 1952 were started to be replaced by the F-84Gs. The last one was dropped from active duty in 1954. (www.tayyareci.com)" Çetin Edited January 25, 2018 by cetinsarf Added name

Colin1967
Hello, Yes, I can see your model, it's beautifully painted and finished. The work with the panel lines is very good. Hoping we can expect a series of aircraft models from your homeland ? Best regards and welcome, Colin.
