Kev The Modeller
Out of interest how long do you leave masking tape on after airbrushing AK Xtreme, acrylic and lacquer (Zero paints) colour coats?
Mike
Depends on the tape really. Tamiya (Kabuki) tape doesn't seem to matter, but others may grab on too hard after a while. I usually unmask almost as soon as I've finished painting and the paint looks dry, as long as you don't risk damaging the paint finish of course
Kev The Modeller
It is Tamiya and that's what I was thinking just wanted to be sure, cheers Mike
Corsairfoxfouruncle
I use both Tamiya and Blue painters tape i usually can leave tamiya indefinitely. Blue tape i try to pull about 30-60 minutes after spraying or i get hard edges and have to sand them.
