1/72 Dragon M4A4 Sherman 'Royal Hussars'

Recommended Posts

Dear fellow Britmodellers,

just finished this one over the holidays - Dragons 1/72 M4A4 Sherman in British service, Normandy 1944, built from the box with the addition of CMK stowage.

Painted with Gunze/Mr.Hobby acrylics (H304), weathered with artists' oils and pastel chalks, photographs by Wolfgang Rabel.

Greetings from Vienna.

The quality is simply stunning, especially in this scale. The level of detail and painting are amazing, one of the best works I've seen.

Thank you very much for kind response.

Please note that this is one of Dragon's earlier boxings that contains some photo-etch pieces (which I happily used).

Their new kits come with plastic parts only, and some have simplified parts like the wheel bogies.

It's worth looking for the older boxings at swap meets and shows, as some of them have become quite hard to get.

Greetings from Vienna,

Roman
