Wingsy Kits 1/48 A5M4

Recommended Posts

so my first for the year....loved being on holidays.

the new Wingsy kits A5M4 Claude, the kit is stunning to build, one of my most enjoyable builds to date..the detail is amazing out of the box and even the PE was nice to use,and the way it goes together just rocks....virtually no putty at all needed.

the markings are for a Claude that was on the carrier Hosho in early 1942 and the decals are loverly to use.

i couldn't recommend this kit enough...it isnt cheap but it's a brilliant kit to build and looks stunning on the shelf...as well as being an historically significant aircraft being the first metal monoplane fighter to serve on carriers.

and with her younger sister

if wingsy keep up this quality in their future kits they will do very well.
