The decals are excellent and the fit is precise, but some filler was needed on mine in the usual places, namely the wing-engine mounting joins, and the bottom seam when the fuselage and wing join. To be honest there isn’t a huge difference, although the new kits looks better proportioned some how. I think I’d have to see side by side close ups. In terms of engineering, it's a shame the design wasn't given quality the resources and development it needed. In terms of history, I'm very glad the fighter wasn't more effective!
