theplasticsurgeon
Joining you with this kit. Which has remained in my stash since it came out in 1997. Two finish options - both Europe Lizard. I've not decided which as yet. Edited February 20, 2018 by theplasticsurgeon correction

theplasticsurgeon
Problems with my new photohost are preventing me updating progress. The airframe is together now, recognisable as an A-10. Photos are being taken.

I've found a long winded workaround, so here's the fuselage And the wing Boeing assembled I'm probably overdoing the lead. theplasticsurgeon
Bulk upload of the backlog. First the engine bits being prepared. Next the wings being fitted. And the airframe after a bit of smoothing and fettling.

theplasticsurgeon
Tim type masking: I've scaled the painting instructions to same size as the model, and cut around the green areas last night. I have to say that the shape of the A-10 does not lend itself to this type of masking. An early afternoon clock-off, and out with the airbrush for some dark green, Humbrol 163 I did the fuselage freehand, unmasked. Tomorrow, on with the grey.
theplasticsurgeon
Masked up again ready for Grey tomorrow. Some paper masks. Some hard tape masks, and some freehand airbrushing (artistry). Edited February 2, 2018 by theplasticsurgeon More info
