Plasto
Hi, I chanced upon a cheap auction for the Bandai 'box scale' First Order TIE Fighters with an X wing thrown in. The TIE fighters are in a double pack with a SF TIE and a regular TIE fighter.. Now Canon would have it that it's unlikely that the X wing would have 'fought' the FO TIE fighters so I was wondering if the Regular TIE is in anyway different to the classic TIE fighter from the original Trilogy. In the DK book there is probably a load of differences but in the actual plastic given the scale... Cheers Plasto..
Madmonk
The general layout of the OT TIE and the FO TIE are similar but there are differences in the ball section and the panel root areas. The big difference being the colour scheme change.
monsterpartyhat
The wings of the First Order TIE fighters are also smaller than those of the Empire TIEs from the original trilogy.
