Well I'm in the process of returning to my favorite hobby of building models after a 3 year absence.  I have spent the last 3 years developing my woodworking skills but I found that I need something to keep me busy when using power tools isn't possible.  I don't think my my power tools would be appreciated late at night.  I have just purchased the AL Endeavour and I am extremely excited about returning to the fun of planking and rigging a final naval vessel.  

 

So if anyone has any reference material they can recommend for this build to or perhaps a build log I could follow it would be greatly appreciated.

Hi , Alan . The book to look out for on building double plank on frame ships is The New Period Ship Handbook ,

by Keith Julier . If you have difficulty finding it down your end , go onto Cornwall Model Boats website . I built

the Caldercraft Endeavour a while back , lovely kit , now I`m just putting the finishing touches to the JoTika/Caldercraft
