Any aftermarket decals for RNZAF Skyhawks out there?

Hi there,

 

As the title say, are there any aftermarket decals for RNZAF Skyhawks out there, covering all the aircraft's career?

I've got a Novascale sheet, but this cover only the A-4G early in their RNZAF service.

IIRC, there was also Gekko Graphics, but I don't know if they're still around?

Any idea, or others optionss?

If you can get them the Gekko Graphic decals are absolutely the best.

 

Other than there is little available in 1/48th scale, other than the decals from the Hasegawa booking. You could try Old Models decals? http://www.oldmodelsdecals.com/

 

I have got a few set of theirs but not used them as yet.

If you want to do all the Schemes worn by the RNZAF A4K, there are at least 4 main schemes

 

May 1970 - Nov/Dec 1970 - SEA Scheme with Silver Fern in centre of Red Inner (Note RNZAF Roundel in US Colours, Fern Leaf applied

after arrival in New Zealand)

 

1971-1985: SEA Scheme - RNZAF Roundel Blue/White - Red Kiwi

 

1985 - Retirement: Low Vis being Blue Roundel/Red kiwi

                              or All Black Roundel/Kiwi - final scheme

 

Old Model decals do all schemes, but in the above link you would have to buy the 1970-85 for first two schemes, and RNZAF 85-Not Current

for the other schemes

 

Ventura do 1/48 A4K schemes as in the link below, but not final Black Roundel/Kiwi

 

Ventura A4K decals

 

Note at some point the lower Grey changed colour also for the SEA scheme
