Matador's 1/76 Fox a/c

This is a nice kit with the exception of the wheels, which were only one sided and not very well cast at that. I found some in the spares box that were serviceable. The rear deck shield was also rebuilt and the guard added over the muffler in the rear. I set it "somewhere in Northern Ireland" during The Troubles on a modified Matchbox base.

Interesting model. 'Interesting' roadsign.

I never drove these in NI, that was before my time, but it's great to finally see a Fox in the forum!

I'm guessing 'Londonderry' was too long a word to fit on the sign?  :D ;)  :worms:??

I'm not a native, but I've been led to believe that some in that town object to the name "London" derry and call it just Derry, so it might depend on who put up the sign. Is this incorrect?
