Popular Post woody37
I forgot to post this in RFI so thought I would squeeze it in before 2017 runs out. The build is HERE so I'm not going to go in to detail but thoroughly enjoyed hacking all that plastic up and sticking great wedges of resin in to stretch the Tamiya Lanc into a Lincoln. Huge thanks go to Chris ( #cngaero) who sold me the set for a very reasonable price. I hope I've done it justice for you It's painted and decalled as RA679 of 12 Sqn based at Binbrook. In 1951, when attempting a 3 engine landing, it overshot the runway and mounted a bank causing the undercarriage to collapse. Happy new year to you all Thanks for looking Neil 105

Pete Yes, she ain’t the lightest of builds but the Tamiya landing gear supports it well 11 minutes ago, cngaero said: That's a stunner Neil, it's so great to see the finished model and you've made a far better job of it than I could ever have done. The Blackbird conversion set is well worth getting, goes together very nicely. Seeing the vac forms you perform miracles on, it will be a walk in the park for you

It's a lovely conversion set, much easier than the Liincoln as there's less cutting up to do 35 minutes ago, Mancunian airman said: Neil Its museum quality at the highest level !!!! Yes, I'm committing to getting one of them even if I don't know where I will store it when built. The CAD shots show it to be well detailed OOB but as you say, at that scale, there's the space to add more Cheers Neil
