If anyone suggests that you have neglected to paint the cowling interior, just say that it's Grumman grey... That said, having the (roughly) correct colours for your models go a long way to having them "look right". Regards, David
Corsairfoxfouruncle
Good effort on both. In fact they're quite well made. I do believe the scheme you have used could have actually have been tried. I know the USN Tried multiple combinations to get the final Gull grey/White Atlantic scheme.
mackem01
A fine effort after such a long lay off. Keep up the good work, and keep posting. Do you have any particular areas of interest?

chris148
Great effort, many people on here have restarted after many years away with differing results me included, regardless of the outcome good or bad we all do this for the enjoyment of doing it thats what matters, crack on with the next one can't wait to see it
Jackson Duvalier
The Academy F4F was also the first kit I completed back in 2014 after a long aeromodelling hiatus. Simple enough kit to build confidence, shoddy enough kit to encourage one to better things! Try an Airfix Wildcat next! Edited January 3, 2018 by Jackson Duvalier Forgot to mention the vastly superior and not much more expensive new Airfix Wildcat
