Fin
Could anyone recommend a pin vice that closes all the way? I`m looking for something that would firmly hold the tiniest drill bits such as those of 0.2 and 0.3mm. The one I have now begins to lose grip at about 0.6mm. Alternatively, does anyone have any experience with this? https://www.super-hobby.co.uk/products/Fine-Pin-Vise-D-R-0.1-3.2mm.html Based on the title and it being a Tamiya seems pretty much what I need, but some of the reviewers on the US amazon claim it does not actually close to the stated diameter. At that price it was worth a try.

bentwaters81tfw
Buying from the USA, the postage will be astronomical. This seller ships to Romania. https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/20PC-Micro-HSS-Mini-Twist-Drills-Pro-Swivel-Head-Pin-Vice-Jewelers-Watch-Maker/161243244827?epid=1489767237&hash=item258ad8a91b:g:wnIAAOxyCTtTdNrS#shpCntId
krow113
LOL Be careful , buying those cheap sets can be fun. I bought a set and the 'drills' were rod ground into a flat and twisted like a ribbon. The pin vices were so poorly made the center was off by 2-3 mm. From a UK supplier. You get what you pay for. bentwaters81tfw
I paid under £5 for my set, and used it for years. I managed to snap the 0.5mm bit, the rest are fine. Been using it today. Just because something isn't made in the USA, doesn't mean it's rubbish.
Fin
As a Romanian I apologize for opening this transatlantic rift (in the pin-vice section)! Thank you both for the time you took to help me with this! 1

LotusArenco
I’ve used good old fashioned ‘English pattern’ pin vice for years. Bought from ‘Squires Tools’ I’m guessing over fifteen years ago, and still a regular on my workbench. The smallest size vice closes right up so no problems with even the smallest of bits.
