goon
Hi all, I'm building Kinetic's 1/48 FRS.1. I have the Eduard set for the exterior, which includes a replacement for the main gear torque link. There is only one, and two on the kit part. I can't find a clear photo, so how many are there please? I think the gear is light aircraft grey, is that correct? Does that also apply to the bays and airbrake bay and interior? As always, many thanks for any help, Gareth

I have attached a link to a cast metal set of FRS1 undercart bits so you can see what it looks like. Hope this helps. Pretty easy to scratchbuild, actually. goon
Thanks for the replies, I think I've got to the bottom of the torque link issue now.
Shar2
Gear bays were white, although not for very long. The main bay got particularly dirty very quickly. Airbrake bay was white pre Falklands, and airframe colour after.
goon
Thanks Shar2. I take it airbrake colour was changed as part of the repaints for the conflict?
xffw45343tg
Only 1 is a torque link; the other is a hydraulic line iirc. Similar lengths to the articulated sections but much rounder and skinnier. Kirk
goon
Hi Kirk, Thanks for clearing that up. I was wondering why the two looked so different on the Kinetic part.
