Tiger Models Spitfire

Finished, well as much as it ever will be.

Decided to go clean on this one for a change. ( Who me? ) In the end I stuffed up the canopy again, dirt and muck under the hood and some ghosting, sigh.  Plus the masking pulled up the paint, again. :deadhorse:

I'm being as zen about it as I can but need to work out a technique to improve my canopies.  I've put my thinking cap on and we'll see if I can get better.  Till then here's the little critter ready for the case.

Canopy issues aside he's a pretty little guy and still heaps of fun.

Thanks for looking in.

Funnily enough, I was looking at the Hasegawa Egg Plane series last night.

Your Tiger Models build looks superb!! Think I'm gonna have to build one for my Nephew now :hmmm:

Re. the canopy, have you tried Johnson 'Klear'. Rinsing the canopy in window-cleaner (any one will do) followed by dipping it in 'Klear' makes a HUGE difference. The technique is well documented on the internet if you wanted to take a look :)

Cheers
