shood23
So I was going g to post this the others before all the issues with the photo embedding issues but hey better late than never. Revell are close to dropping this little beauty on us in the very near future. I for one am very happy as I was unwilling to pay the price of the mfh or profile versions. The only problem I can see there being is the wheels as the recent releases from them have had so pretty odd sizes. Maybe plamoz will put out some replacements after it comes out though. For me though I can put up with odd wheels if replacements come out so I can see a few being purchased. Shaun
Stu_davros
I saw this and felt a bit sorry for Profil24 and MFH, they have only just issued resin versions of this car and then Revell come along and kill their market. Sods law I guess. Stuart
colin
Is this based on their snap together 2017 kit
motogpMatt
Will certainly be picking one of these up! Like you say though let's hope there is some aftermarket wheels coming as revell generally struggle with wheels lol Matt

Plus the gt version of the gt is quite different in sizes of parts so a straight copy from the snap kit isnt really viable. I have seen one guy make the gt car from the snap kit and it was quite a lot of work to make it look right. Shaun

I think their market is safe.

shood23
Can I made in on the the whole mfh vs revell debate. Personally the 1/12 Or 1/24 kits from mfh will always have a market, like wise with profil ones. The big thing though is profil made there's available alot sooner than anyone else so just with having that headstart they had the market all to themselves. The same that has been said about revell here could also have been said about mfh when they made the gt in 24th scale a while back but for me mfh have been clever and made a big version and small version so have hit 2 markets with 1 kit as there are some who won't want to make the small kit no matter who makes it and some who will always buy the smaller mfh kit just out of brand loyalty or snubbing the so called subpar efforts of other brands, take the laferrari made by both tamiya and revell and most would say spend a little more and get the tamiya one because of revells past and brand alliance to tamiya. On to revell and I feel they know they are never going to have the accuracy of the "bigger" brands but they are trying to hit the younger or first time maker market with a very good subject as no beginner wants to spend 150-250 on a kit they don't have the experience for or something they may not finish so a little £20-25 is the perfect starting place for this category of modeller. Plus us more experienced guys who want this car and can improve on revells attempt this will also be a perfect price point just incase we mess up or just plain can't be bothered to finish if it doesn't go to plan. I don't think mfh or profil24s sales will be hit by this as the resin market is such a specialist market to begin with Shaun Edited December 27, 2017 by shood23
