Smudge
Nice. On 1/1/2018 at 20:22, viperchief said: Italeri F-16B............... I have never actually looked at that kit. How does it hold up against newer kits? Probably doesn't have the level of detail of the more recent Revell/Tamiya etc, but has nice engraved surface detail. I think they still stand up quite nicely.
viperchief
Made some progress tonight. Masked and painted the gear wells and doors and started on the exhaust. The combination of Tamiya kit, Eduard bits and MRP paint make modeling a blast!

viperchief
Used Alclad Klear Kote for the first time and I am not sure I like it...dries slowly and seems to have messed with my colors a bit. We'll see how it looks tomorrow. Also primed the wing tanks and AME. Ready for paint! 1
Christer A
Gosh darn, but that looks just about beautiful! I find the MrPaint colors very nice to spray, even if a little on the smelly side.

I do use a mask and spray booth to preserve the innards. The stuff really made modeling exciting again as I am able to do stuff like 1/72 Luftwaffe mottling rather easily.
