This is a funny one, I actually finished this one back in September 2009 and botched the finish.

 

I started with this

 

 

and finished with this

 

 

As you can see the canopy had fogged (due to spraying a flat coat over it) so I decided to strip and repaint it. I had also used parts from an Italeri kit to update it; Nose, cockpit, ejection seat, rails and pylons.

 

I got to the disassemble stage and rubbed it back some but that was it. So it is time to get it finished

 

here it is when I started on it over the weekend

 

I have been filling and sanding and making some new parts to replaced lost ones

I managed to replace some missing parts, some of the flap track fairings were the main parts

 

 

And a blank win tip was added where I had lost the other missile rail. Also, some painted splashed on as well.

I had to paint over the canopy as when I unmasked it there was a huge white fogged area.  Oh well, I can call it done now.

Looks like you battered that one into submission.  Well done, sir a fantastic result from a difficult starting point.  Love the way you have displayed it over the surf. Thanks for sharing.
