Rob de Bie
I'm currently researching F-84F weapons, mainly in Dutch air force service (RNLAF). One item that puzzled me quite badly is this practice bomb rack. I found only reference to it, and there it's called a R-3. I *think* that this simple design evolved somewhat later, for use on the German and possibly Belgian air forces, with an aerodynamic fairing at the front, and possibly a stepped carriage for the front and rear bombs. But that's about all I found. Anyone?? Thanks in advance! Rob
Finn
Replied on ARC but for others: http://www.avialogs.com/viewer/avialogs-documentviewer.php?id=2974 scroll down to pg 37 of the reader, 1-25 of the manual for info on it. Jari
MiG-Mech
I found a similar pic of a german G.91. There is written about a Mk 25 practice bomb rack with Mk 76 practise bombs.

Using this designation I even found a resin 1/32 kit of it, by VideoAviation: https://www.largescaleplanes.com/reviews/review.php?rid=1605 Rob
