ArtickWarspite
Not a recent build, but this Trumpeter kit was a good kit with no obvious hang ups. OOB build. Fits nicely and not long after it was finished, an ex RN serviceman who served on Carriers post WWII ended up purchasing it. Paints are from the Gunze range & weathered with artists pastels.

Spitfire31
Nice workhorse Sea Fury! Having learnt my lesson from criticising a Panther build with drooped ailerons a while back, am I right in assuming that the unusual config is part of the wing folding mechanism? Kind regards, Joachim
SimonT
Certainly when the wings are folded the ailerons are dropped slightly (I’ve never been able to find info on if it varies in terms of degrees or not). I have this kit in my stash and it’s scheduled for build in one of the 2018 Group builds (either the Hawker GB or the Wingy things off Floaty things GB) and your kit serves beautifully as an incentive. I think it looks superb.
Niknak
Very nice, used sea fury the weathering is good.
Bill.B
You can’t beat a dirty bird! I like the weathering, but if you’re depicting the wings about to fold, both ailerons only have to have a small amount of droop, probably half of what is shown in the photos. Otherwise.......

Kind regards, Joachim Quite correct. Sea Fury ailerons would both angle down when the wings were folded - something to do with the aileron activation mechanism being disconnected as part of the process but Im not sure it's accurate with spread wings?
