Seat belt suitability Hurricane Mk1

Are these seat belts suitable for a Mk1 Hurricane... I think so But best to check....

Strictly speaking the QK type Sutton  which that set appears to be of appeared later in the mid war period. You're after the K type if you're going to be really strict about it. The main difference being that the QK type was fastened directly to the seat plate and not further back in the fuselage.

I'd have to drag my books out (it's late here and I'm just about off to bed so apologies for not burrowing them out) but in fear of getting shot down for being wrong I don't think so. The harness was worn and secured the same way, it's the anchoring point to the airframe which differed.

 

I'm sure someone else will be able to come on and confirm or correct me.

 

Sounds and looks like you have an Airfix 1/24 on the drawing board
